Volvo, Daimler, launch joint venture for software-defined vehicle platform

The new company is based in Sweden and expects to launch its first products at the end of the decade.

The Volvo Group and Daimler Truck recently launched Coretura AB, the two companies’ joint venture to create a new software-defined vehicle platform. With Coretura, the two companies will be able to offer stand-alone digital vehicle applications for their trucks.
