Lytx expands AI-driven fleet platform with maintenance, asset tracking tools

The new tools combine video safety, telematics, maintenance tracking, and asset management into a single platform.

Lytx used its annual Protect Conference to roll out several new AI-powered fleet management tools aimed at combining video safety, telematics, maintenance, compliance, and asset tracking into a single platform. The updates are designed to reduce the number of disconnected systems used to monitor vehicles, drivers, trailers, and shop activity for fleets.

At the center of the announcement is LytxOne, a new all-in-one platform that combines video safety, telematics, maintenance tracking, compliance tools, and asset management under one interface.

“LytxOne is a purpose-built platform designed from the ground up,” said Chris Cabrera, CEO at Lytx. “We created a unified architecture where video safety, telematics, maintenance, compliance, and asset tracking work seamlessly together. We’re deeply committed to providing our customers with multiple all-in-one pathways that deliver a new standard for fleet technology, transforming operational complexity into total clarity and scalable control for fleets of every size.”

Lytx’s existing Lytx+ platform, introduced in 2025, continues as a unified video-based fleet management solution.

Lytx also announced an AI Assistant, currently in beta testing, that can summarize safety, maintenance, and compliance information into actionable recommendations. Rather than requiring managers to manually sort through reports, the assistant is designed to surface maintenance or operational concerns more quickly. For maintenance teams, this could help shops prioritize repairs, identify recurring vehicle issues, or respond faster to compliance-related problems.

The company is also expanding its camera and asset tracking capabilities. A new 360 Hub Kit, expected in Q3 2026, supports up to eight HD camera feeds covering blind spots, cargo areas, rear views, and work zones. The system uses AI-based event detection and cloud-connected video storage to help fleets monitor vehicle activity and incident risk.

On the equipment side, Lytx introduced new battery- and vehicle-powered asset trackers for trailers, forklifts, loaders, containers, and other fleet equipment. The tracking tools integrate directly into the platform dashboard to provide location and utilization data alongside vehicle information.

Lytx also said it is integrating its video technology with Platform Science’s Virtual Vehicle ecosystem, giving enterprise fleets another way to centralize operational and vehicle data.
