Tinker launches Tinker Mobility Solutions for digital inspections, diagnostics
Tinker has launched a new suite of customizable virtual inspections, diagnostics, and reporting tools for commercial fleets called Tinker Mobility Solutions. Additionally, the company has partnered with Zevo, who will integrate Tinker’s virtual inspections into their host onboarding, customer support, and fleet operations.
“With Tinker Mobility Solutions, we’re giving fleets and mobility operators a faster, smarter, and more scalable way to understand and manage vehicle health,” said Megan Han, head of operations at Tinker. “By bringing real-time, on-demand virtual inspections directly into Zevo’s car-sharing platform, we’re removing manual bottlenecks and putting certified expertise at operators’ fingertips so they can keep vehicles on the road, accelerate turnaround times, and run their operations with far greater efficiency.”
Tinker Mobility Solutions provides the digital infrastructure for fleets to use “digital first” inspections and diagnostics in their operations. This infrastructure can be tailored to a fleet’s specific needs by working with each customer to define their inspection’s scope, triggers, checklists, escalation paths, and reporting outputs, Tinker Mobility Solutions said. For even more customization, the company can adapt and configure inspection and diagnostic workflows by vehicle type, fleet policy, regulatory needs, or OEM requirements.
“Through a national, diverse network of ASE-certified mechanics, we work directly with each partner to co-design a customized inspection and diagnostics program tailored to their specific vehicles, workflows, and risk profiles,” a company spokesperson said. “Today, we provide both standardized and custom-developed inspection and condition reporting solutions for businesses that require structured, repeatable, virtually delivered screening products.”
This way, Tinker can help CV fleets access real-time video inspections and expert validation, which the company says is more accurate than self-reported or AI-only tools. Additionally, Tinker Mobility Solutions can provide same-day inspections with bulk pricing and shared access between teams and employees.
