Motive adds AI-driven compliance tools to Workforce Management platform

Motive has expanded its Workforce Management product with new AI-powered tools designed to automate driver qualification, compliance tracking, and workforce records management. The updates centralize processes such as motor vehicle record (MVR) pulls, document tracking, timecards, and training records within the Motive dashboard.

“Workforce management in physical operations has been manual and fragmented for far too long—but AI is changing all of that,” said Hemant Banavar, chief product officer at Motive. “With these new capabilities, Motive is bringing qualifications, compliance, coaching, and workforce data into its integrated AI-powered platform to automate busywork so that organizations can work at a higher level of speed, visibility, and efficiency. This enables a fundamental shift from paperwork-driven processes to intelligent workforce management at scale.”

Already deployed with select fleets, the updated platform is reducing time spent on manual document tracking and compliance administration.

New capabilities of the platform include:

• Integrated Motor Vehicle Records (MVRs): Allows fleets to request, store, and track MVRs directly within the Motive dashboard. Records are automatically organized and monitored with expiration alerts, reducing manual tracking and helping fleets stay compliant.
• Driver Walkthrough for Qualification Documents: Prevents drivers from operating vehicles or logging duty status if required documents are missing or expired. Drivers can upload credentials in-app, and managers can enforce document requirements to close compliance gaps quickly.
• AI-Powered Document Capture: Automates the collection and review of licenses, medical cards, and MVRs. The system extracts key data to reduce manual entry and errors, enabling faster approvals and audit-ready records.
• Workforce Management Hub: Centralizes driver profiles, compliance data, and workforce records in one platform. Provides real-time visibility into compliance and payroll issues while reducing administrative workload.

The goal is to reduce manual paperwork, minimize audit risk, and give fleets real-time visibility into workforce status.
