Fullbay has launched Fullbay Next, a new cloud-based platform designed to help shops manage work orders, reduce administrative tasks, and improve technician productivity.

The platform is built around a mobile-first interface and uses AI to automate several administrative and repair-related tasks. Fullbay said the platform is being rolled out in phases, beginning with small independent and mobile repair shops, with tools for medium and large operations expected to follow in the coming months.

“Fullbay Next is a new era of shop management and fleet maintenance," said Trent Broberg, CEO of Fullbay. "We're bringing together tens of millions of service orders representing billions of dollars in commerce from across our platform to build something this industry has never had: a connected, data-driven ecosystem that makes every shop and fleet smarter, faster, and more efficient. This isn't an incremental update. It's a fundamentally different way for the heavy-duty industry to run."

Fullbay Next includes a redesigned Repair Center with several features aimed at simplifying shop workflows. Wrench mode gives technicians a focused view of repair information, while a Kanban board provides a visual overview of jobs and their current stages. A Quick Work Order feature also allows users to start a work order quickly and fill in additional details later.

The platform also incorporates several AI-powered tools, including voice-to-text note cleanup, image analysis, and an AI Receptionist that can handle after-hours and overflow calls.

The image tool allows technicians to add photos to work orders and use AI to review images of parts and identify potential issues.

Fullbay Next also includes a Fleet Center customer portal with automatically created accounts. Fullbay said it plans to add a universal unit record that will allow fleets to view service history across Fullbay-connected repair shops.

The company also introduced an updated developer portal and API with interactive documentation, versioning, expanded data access, and updated security features. Early access to the new API is expected to open in the coming months.
