Noregon and CalAmp have made the diagnostic and repair software provider’s TripVision application available to any fleet equipped with CalAmp’s telematics hardware.
“Working with CalAmp to bring the joint solution to the marketplace has been a wonderful opportunity,” said David Shuttleworth, product manager at Noregon. “This launch is a great step forward in Noregon and CalAmp’s shared vision of making trucking safer and more efficient.”
CalAmp, another telematics and Internet of Things software provider, will be offering a TripVision activation to Class 6 vehicles or higher that already have CalAmp devices with no additional vehicle installations or hardware needed. TripVision will allow users to access actionable, customized maintenance alerts, predictive faults, and configurable maintenance alerts, while CalAmp telematics offers trailer health, status, and performance monitoring; an in-cab ELD solution; and trailer doors and wheel-end temperature tracking.
