WrenchWay launches local chapters across U.S.

March 24, 2023
The organization is looking to make their promotional and networking efforts more approachable to technicians and shops in smaller communities.

WrenchWay, a company that connects auto and diesel technicians with shops as well as promoting trade vocations at large, is launching local chapters across the country, starting in 11 cities.

Beginning in April, local WrenchWay chapters will aim to provide more customized connections to smaller locales with personalized efforts that would not be tenable via the company’s national platform.

“We wanted to take what we’re already doing on the national level and bring it to a local level for greater community impact,” said Mark Wilson, co-founder and CEO, WrenchWay.

These local communities will provide:

  • A detailed look at what it’s like working at the best shops in the area
  • An effective way for schools to connect with local shops and dealerships
  • An engaging forum for members to discuss industry topics
  • A fun way to win prizes while helping the industry and local schools

WrenchWay local chapters will launch in the following cities, and an expansion of the program is on the way, the company stated.

  • Charlotte, NC
  • Denver, CO
  • Detroit, MI
  • Houston, TX
  • Indianapolis, IN
  • Madison, WI
  • Milwaukee, WI
  • Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN
  • Phoenix, AZ
  • Portland, OR
  • Raleigh, NC

WrenchWay offers three types of memberships at the national and local level. School memberships for auto and diesel educators or administrative staff is free, as is membership for technicians, service advisors, and other industry professionals. Independent shops, dealers, and fleets may join for $150 per month, however, this price is reflective only if it is purchased annually.
