The ASE Education Foundation is planning to create a new online accreditation management system for vocational training schools and update its website, both of which will debut later in 2025.
“The ASE Education Foundation remains committed to providing the best tools and resources to support the education community,” said Mike Coley, president of the ASE Education Foundation. “These new systems will significantly enhance the accreditation process, offering a more seamless and efficient experience for educators, administrators, and employers alike.”
The new accreditation management system will include features such as online documentation storage, step-by-step guidance and sample forms, instructional videos, and progress saving. The process will also offer tools for schools to survey employer needs and collect feedback from students and program graduates, and allow schools to review their past documentation and update their staff contact information.
Additionally, the new website will include several new tools for technical students. It will have an updated school locator with more search options, links to partners’ training and employment websites, a streamlined resources page, weekly webinar information, and direct access to scholarship and grant information.
The truck will provide students with hands-on opportunities to learn how to work on heavy-duty BEVs, expanding the college’s program from just light-duty EVs.
