The Spring registration period will close on June 30, and those who register within that time frame will have 90 days to schedule their certification test.
Currently, ASE offers three certification options, including:
In-person testing at over 450 proctored Prometric test centers, which are available year-round on weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
ProProctor remote testing that allows users to take ASE recertification tests remotely. Also, the auto maintenance and light repair (G1) initial certification test can be taken remotely.
The ASE Renewal App, which lets those with valid auto certifications (A1-A9) manage their recertification on their phones.
To register for any of these options, users should visit ASE.com, click “register” and log in. Then they can click “orders” and then “store” where they can choose the tests they want to take. After adding their tests to their cart, users can check out and complete their registration. Keep in mind that those who register by June 30 will have 90 days to schedule an appointment to take their tests.
For those preparing for their test, ASE provides free study guides, including test overviews, sample questions, and study tips.
