UAF scholarship applications close March 31
The University of the Aftermarket Foundation (UAF) is awarding over $900,000 in scholarships for the 2026-27 academic year, with a scholarship application deadline of March 31, 2026. Students can submit their applications at AutomotiveScholarships.com and HeavyDutyScholarships.com.
“We encourage all those who are interested in applying to visit the website soon to complete and submit their applications in advance of the March 31 deadline,” said Mike Buzzard, AAP, trustee and chairman, UAF scholarship committee. “We will be awarding more scholarship funds than ever so the recipients can get the education and training they need to begin a successful automotive or heavy-duty career.”
The UAF’s scholarships are open to students attending or planning to attend four- or two-year colleges, or ASE/NATEF certified automotive, collision, and heavy-duty/diesel post-secondary programs. These scholarships apply for student looking to work in service and repair, engineering, supply chain, finance, IT/cybersecurity, and other fields.
Students can fill out one application on either of the UAF’s websites and be considered for multiple scholarships, such as those from ASE-Busch, Gates, Mitchell1, and more. They just need to review the details of the scholarships they’re applying for to make sure they’re fulfilling all requirements.
Otherwise, general requirements for the scholarship program include a one-page essay about the applicants career goals, as well as an optional short video; at least one letter of reference (which may need to be from an automotive instructor or a specific provider’s institution), and a high-school transcript and/or post-secondary transcript.
The deadline for scholarship applications is March 31.
