Bendix 2026 brakes training schedule includes 23 sessions
Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems will host 23 in-person technical training sessions across 11 states in 2026, along with two virtual classes, as part of its annual brake and advanced systems education program for commercial vehicle technicians.
The multiday sessions, scheduled from March through November, include 16 offerings of the company’s three-day Air Brake Training course and seven sessions of its two-day Advanced Technology Training class. The expanded schedule reflects continued demand from fleets seeking hands-on instruction in braking, stability, and collision mitigation systems.
The curriculum is designed to help technicians diagnose and service modern air brake systems, electronic braking platforms, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
Course Breakdown
The three-day Air Brake Training class covers system operation, troubleshooting, and service for dual air brake systems. Topics include compressed air fundamentals, failure mode diagnosis, air compressors and valves, foundation drum and air disc brakes, and an introduction to Bendix electronic braking and air treatment technologies.
The two-day Advanced Technology Training course builds on that foundation with instruction on ABS, electronic stability control, collision mitigation systems, lane departure warning, tire pressure monitoring systems, and related diagnostics. The program also includes hands-on maintenance training for air disc brakes and electrical diagnostics.
In-person classes utilize functional air system training boards to demonstrate component interaction and system behavior, including collision mitigation technologies integrated into the braking platform.
Bendix recommends participants complete its online air brake coursework prior to attending in-person sessions.
