GE Capital Fleet Services will host a webinar on January 12, 2012 titled “Myth Busters – Truck Edition,” which will address common misconceptions surrounding truck fleets. The webinar will feature a panel of experts who will provide insight into how these myths may be impacting a fleet’s bottom line through higher costs, lower productivity, dissatisfied drivers and lost revenue.

The complementary webinar will discuss the facts behind some of the myths surrounding truck fleets and will offer tips to help fleet managers make better, more informed decisions. Some of the myths that will be discussed and exposed during the webinar include:

  • Truck selection does not impact driver satisfaction or productivity

  • The longer trucks are kept in the fleet, the better

  • Adding a few pounds or small equipment won’t impact truck productivity

The webinar will be moderated by Greg Wilson, truck product manager for GE Capital Fleet Services. Panelists for the webinar include Tim Craft, president of TiNik, Inc., who will provide an upfitter’s perspective, Mark Stumne, truck engineer, and Collin Reid, truck strategic consultant, both from GE Capital Fleet Services, who will discuss the myths and offer information that can help fleets separate fact from fiction.

Participants will have the opportunity to interact directly with speakers by submitting questions during the webinar. For further information, email GE Capital Fleet Services at [email protected].
