HDA Truck Pride announced the semi-finalists for the fourth year of its Top Tech Competition. As in years prior, the competition kicked off with a 60-question written exam. From there, the six highest test scores advance to compete hands-on at the end of June at the Maryland Motor Truck Association’s SuperTech qualifier. The top two scores in Maryland will move on to compete in September at TMC’s SuperTech competition.
With written test scores of 95% or higher, the following six semi-finalists are headed to Maryland for the hands-on competition:
- Luke Noyes, Blaine Brothers, Clearwater, Minnesota
- Eric Curler, RT&T Repair, East Dubuque, Illinois
- Brian Judy, RT&T Repair, East Dubuque, Illinois
- Cody Brooks, Brooks Diesel Service, Ada, Oklahoma
- Danial Walton, Vander Haag’s, Kansas City, Missouri
- Michael Vine, E.L.M. Repair, Edgar, Wisconsin
Two of these top contenders will head to TMCSuperTech in Cleveland, Ohio, in September to join the ranks of the industry’s top technicians where they will have the opportunity to compete for prize packages valued over $8,000.
