ASE offers free webinar on maintenance scholarships

The ASE Education Foundation's webinar on available funding for vocational students and new hires will be on Wednesday, Jan. 24

The ASE Education Foundation is hosting a free webinar on Wednesday, Jan. 24, at 4:00 p.m. covering available scholarship offerings in the automotive service industry.

Called “An Industry Discussion on Scholarships,” the webinar will discuss available scholarships, grants, and loan forgiveness programs, and will be hosted by representatives from various sectors in the service and education segments. These will include the Collision Repair Education Foundation (CREF), Garage Gurus, Harbor Freight Tools for Schools, Noregon Systems, Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA), Steve Johnson Racing, and the University of the Aftermarket Foundation (UAF) Scholarship Central.

Additionally, April Lausch, manager of Faulkner Collision Center in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, will cover scholarship offerings from the employer perspective. Reportedly, Lausch attended the ASE Education Foundation’s webinar last year, which resulted in two of her entry-level employees applying and receiving scholarships.

Prospective attendees will receive a confirmation email once they register at this link. If they cannot attend the live session, those who registered in advance will be able to view a recorded session.
