RoadSquad Connect provides professional drivers nationwide coverage for emergency roadside services.

TravelCenters of America LLC (TravelCenters) has launched an expanded roadside breakdown recovery service called RoadSquad Connect. RoadSquad Connect provides professional drivers nationwide coverage for emergency roadside services across the country, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

RoadSquad Connect was built around TravelCenters' well-known RoadSquad fleet of 450 service trucks dispatched from TA and Petro Stopping Center branded travel centers nationwide. In 2011 alone, RoadSquad executed over 200,000 roadside repairs. RoadSquad Connect now includes access to thousands of additional qualified service providers and service trucks. The RoadSquad Connect 24/7/365 Dispatch Center provides fleets and owner-operators alike a "one-call, anywhere, anytime" comprehensive roadside repair and oversight program. Other RoadSquad Connect features include:

  • No membership fees;
  • Centralized billing system;
  • Acceptance of all major payment types, including credit, debit and fleet/fuel cards;
  • Zero call-in fees when serviced by RoadSquad;
  • One low fee when serviced by a RoadSquad Connect affiliate provider;
  • Knowledgeable central dispatch staff; and
  • Contact and transmit exact location with one touch through the patent pending technology of the TruckSmart smartphone app.

One call is all that is needed to mobilize RoadSquad Connect. One call to 1-800-824-SHOP (7467) serves up fast, responsive service.

"Our number one goal is to make sure professional drivers get the fastest, best qualified response every time, anywhere and everywhere they break down," commented Tom O'Brien, President and CEO of TravelCenters.

O'Brien added, "RoadSquad Connect is a unique offering in the emergency roadside assistance category of services. Backed by TA and Petro know-how and experience, RoadSquad Connect is more than just a call center. Since it's built around the RoadSquad fleet of trucks and technicians, RoadSquad Connect gives drivers a combination of speed, convenience, and low cost that simply cannot be found with other emergency breakdown services."
