Decisiv wins 2013 North American Customer Value Leadership Award for Fleet Maintenance.

Decisiv, Inc., the leading provider of Service Relationship Management (SRM) platforms for fleet maintenance, announced that it has received the 2013 North American Customer Value Leadership Award for Fleet Maintenance from Frost & Sullivan. The award recognizes Decisiv's demonstrated excellence in implementing strategies that proactively create value for its customers with a focus on improving the return on the investment that customers make in high-value commercial assets such as heavy duty trucks.

"Decisiv has clearly identified the need for streamlined communication and more effective collaboration in the fleet maintenance ecosystem," said Nandini Tare, industry analyst at Frost & Sullivan. "The company's solution has already demonstrated up to 50 percent reduction in days out of service for fleets. The ability to integrate and offer fleets a collaboration solution for service and maintenance events and the service supply ecosystem, including OEs, dealers and service providers, and technology solutions, has led Frost & Sullivan to recognize Decisiv with the 2013 Customer Value Leadership Award for Fleet Maintenance."

Accepting the award for Decisiv at the Frost & Sullivan 2013 Growth, Innovation & Leadership Awards Gala in San Jose, Calif., was Steve Hayes, a co-founder of Decisiv and now a key member of the team focused on process re-engineering with fleet customers. Joining Hayes at the ceremony was Dean Dodrill, chief strategy officer, founding investor and board member, who is actively engaged in driving the company's cloud-based platform architecture.

"Twelve years ago, I visited a large truck dealer group to identify problems in their parts and service organization," Hayes said. "During that visit I witnessed a very chaotic truck maintenance management process and upon further study it became apparent that this chaos permeated the trucking industry. I also saw an opportunity to help the industry address this challenge so I contacted Larry Settle, a venture capitalist, and Dick Hyatt, who has managed and successfully grown many technology companies. Other key members of the founding team included Dean Dodrill and Satish Joshi, who were most recently part of the founding management team of an Internet telephony start-up with Dick Hyatt that was sold to Cisco in 1999."

Together, Settle, Hyatt, Hayes, Joshi and Dodrill gathered a team of technology and trucking industry experts that formed the foundation of Decisiv. Today, Settle is the company's chairman of the board and Hyatt is president and CEO; Joshi is the CTO and Dodrill is chief strategy officer.

"Under their leadership, Decisiv has grown to become the leading provider of service relationship management technology focused on removing the chaos that is very costly for a multi-billion dollar industry," Hayes added. "I am very proud to accept this award for the entire Decisiv team."
