Dossier Systems, the provider of fleet maintenance management software and solutions, announced the release of PeopleNet integration with Dossier On-Board cloud services.

Dossier Systems, the provider of fleet maintenance management software and solutions, announced the release of PeopleNet integration with Dossier On-Board cloud services. PeopleNet is a leading fleet mobility provider, and the integration will initially provide meter and diagnostic trouble code (DTC) data from PeopleNet telematics to Dossier. A future release will add bi-directional E-DVIR information transfer between PeopleNet and Dossier.

“We are continuing to add partners to Dossier On-Board, leveraging our DCloud communications platform,” said Bob Hausler, Dossier Systems VP of marketing and technology, “and we’re very excited to add PeopleNet to the list of data providers. We are releasing the meters and DTC integration as Phase I now, and the Phase II E-DVIR workflow integration in the future. The Phase I integration is complete and available for our mutual customers as of today.”

Hausler continued, “The benefits of telematics integration with maintenance are significant. Up-to-date meter information keeps preventive maintenance on track, and automatic generation of work requests based on DTCs saves manpower and reduces errors. Any time that we can move data between two systems automatically, we increase speed and eliminate errors of transcription and omission.”

“We are committed to completing provider integrations with the major telematics companies used by our current and potential clients, so that they can take advantage of the full benefits of Dossier On-Board,” concluded Hausler.
