Hunter Engineering to partner with UpdatePromise

Dec. 13, 2023
The new integrated partnership will allow shops to access Hunter Engineering's Quick Check Drive and Quick Tread Edge inspection results through UpdatPromise's platform.

Hunter Engineering and UpdatePromise, an automotive software provider, are working on an integration partnership to allow service advisors to access Hunter’s Quick Check Drive and Quick Tread Edge autonomous inspection results on UpdatePromise’s platform.

“The new partnership with UpdatePromise will result in more alignments, more tire sales, greater efficiency and a safer vehicle for the customer,” said Alex Smith, Hunter product manager for inspection.

The Quick Check inspection system offers detailed alignment and tire tread depth results, which will now be included in UpdatePromise’s Tablet Vehicle Check In. With it, dealerships will be able to capture videos and photos, review OEM direct and OEM connected vehicle data, present safety-related inspection reports, and add services to DMS repair orders all in one system.

"We’re excited to partner with Hunter Engineering to offer our customers even more value and convenience," said Richard Pannazzo, chief operating officer at UpdatePromise.
