Where to find sample programs for safety and procedures manuals.

March 30, 2011

Q: We do not have a safety and procedures manual for our fleet shop. Almost all truck repair shops do the same type of work. I don't want to recreate the world and have not been able to come up with any sample programs for truck shops.

A: At the moment there is not a “on-the-shelf” manual for one to use, not that I can find anyways. I have asked many colleagues and they all have simply designed their own around their business using their state/provincial laws and recommendations while building their manual.

The closest information I have found is some information with the Technology and Maintenance Council. Sorry I could not have been of greater assistance.
