The acquisition was completed in July.

The new cab extender fairing is designed to be durable, versatile, and weigh 26 lbs. less than OEM cab extenders, the company said.

Transtex tested the aerodynamics of their "best selling" skirts using both wind tunnel and CFD test protocols.

The new electric APU uses LiFePo4 batteries that deliver 6.7 kW of power storage and can recharge up to 40% SOC in one hour.

With the acquisition, the aerodynamic device provider will now be able to increase fuel efficiency while tractor-trailers are in park.
