SAF-Holland acquires Gunite slack adjuster brand

SAF-Holland Group acquired the Gunite Slack Adjuster product line from Accuride Corporation, based in Livonia, Michigan. This move expands SAF-Holland’s brake product portfolio and grows their market presence in the industry.

“The expertise that the Gunite automatic brake adjuster product line brings will be a valuable addition to our capabilities, supporting our vision to expand our product portfolio and better serve our customers,” said Kent Jones, president of SAF-Holland – Americas.

The Gunite automatic slack adjuster will now be manufactured and serviced under the Haldex brand, according to the company. SAF-Holland will also change the product designation to the Gunite Automatic Brake Adjuster for continuity purposes.
