Tech Tip: Test before it's touched

Oct. 7, 2019
This critical pre-service inspection of the TPMS will help to avoid inheriting existing problems.

Test before it's touched is a concept made popular by Bartec nearly 10 years ago. This critical pre-service inspection of the TPMS is designed to help avoid inheriting existing problems, keep customer's vehicle operational, and uncover potential sale opportunities. Make sure to use a quality TPMS tool and verify that the TPMS sensors are functioning and are the correct ones for the vehicle. With a quick DTC check the technician can confirm the status of the TPMS and provide the customer with accurate information.
