RETRAC launches grille guards for all-new Volvo VNL

RETRAC has released its new Tuff Guard XT and ProTec EDGE XT grille guards built for the redesigned Volvo VNL (2025 and newer). The guards provide durable front-end protection while maintaining driver visibility and serviceability.

Designed to match the updated front-end contours of the Volvo VNL, the grille guards are compatible with VORAD systems and fog lights.

The Tuff Guard XT is available in polished stainless steel or black powder coat to protect against rain, snow, mud, sand, and road salt while providing more strength than aluminum. The 3" diameter, 14-gauge stainless steel tubing is welded together into a single piece in a double-stacked layout, helping to protect the bumper and grille without dominating the look of the truck, the company said.

ProTec Edge XT is available in polished stainless steel and features a multi-crossbar, one-piece design that contours to the aerodynamic profile of today's heavy-duty trucks. Its 2-1/2" diameter, 304 stainless steel tube construction offers strength while the bright, high-polish stainless steel finish resists rust against rain, dirt, road salt, and other corrosive threats. The new and improved XT model features an extra-tall design that accommodates radar, fog lights, and other modern electronics.

A custom MagLatch bracket (sold separately) allows the guards to fold down, providing fast and easy engine access, helping fleets minimize service downtime.
