Link Manufacturing, Ltd. announced a redesign of its 13.5K Self-Steer lift axle. The newly designed DuraLift 13.5 continues Link’s commitment to developing solutions that enhance installer productivity and reduce inventory demands.

Link has long been known for its patented interchangeable ride height brackets that allow unmatched ease in the installation process. With just four sets of brackets in inventory, any Link axle can be installed – offering a solution for nearly any truck while controlling inventory expenses. Additionally, the separate ride height brackets and optional pre-plumbed integrated air control kit can save 2-3 hours of installation time.

The re-engineered DuraLift 13.5 takes ease and efficiency to a new level. The lift bags have been repositioned to reduce bushing wear, protect the air bag and open the mounting envelope; and improved lift spring geometry assures longer lift spring life and less downtime for the owner. The new design also adds exclusive fender bracket attachments that don’t require hub removal; utilizes industry-standard wheel end components to overcome inventory-related delays; and provides optional reverse lock.

“Through Link’s Continuous Improvement efforts, we’ve added features and options that drivers want; specifically, ones that reduce downtime and streamline maintenance,” said Greg Mixon, Link’s National Sales Manager. “But, we didn’t compromise on the things that are key to our dealer partners…product flexibility, industry best delivery times and unmatched customer service. What the customer can expect is greater productivity at no additional expense.”

Availability

The Link DuraLift 13.5 is fully available beginning June 2, and includes the standard five-day lead-time that covers all Link lift axles.
