Hexagon Purus to supply GILLIG with hydrogen fuel storage

Hexagon Purus agreed to supply GILLIG, a designer and manufacturer of heavy-duty transit buses in the U.S., with hydrogen fuel storage systems for GILLIG’s hydrogen fuel-cell powered buses. Hexagon Purus will be supplying these systems from its facility located in Westminster, U.S.

According to both companies, hydrogen will be critical in decarbonizing “hard to abate” mobility sectors, and that making green hydrogen more available will be an important step in the energy transition in this area.
