Diesel Forward to purchase Southwest Diesel and Electrical Corporation

Both companies distribute diesel engine parts for global manufacturers in the aftermarket.

Diesel Forward signed an agreement to purchase the assets of Southwest Diesel and Electrical Corporation. The closed date was Friday, January 10, 2020. Both companies distribute diesel engine parts for global manufacturers such as Alliant Power, BorgWarner, Bosch, Cummins, Delphi, Denso, Garrett, Holset, Mann+Hummel, Parker Racor, Stanadyne, and Yanmar into the aftermarket.

“This addition to the Diesel Forward family is a complementary expansion that will benefit our customers, employees, and our suppliers. Through this acquisition, we will expand our distribution, service reach, and capabilities. Customers will have expanded access to service as well as product and technical support. We will continue to build on our leadership position in light, medium, and heavy duty diesel engine and aftertreatment component distribution,” said Houman Kashanipour, president, Diesel Forward.
