Mack Trucks’ Mack Pioneer is now available on the company’s two digital platforms, the Mack Live Tour and the Truck Builder. The former allows users to take virtual tours of the Mack Pioneer, while the latter would allow users to customize the Pioneer to suit their needs.
“We’re excited to offer truck buyers two powerful ways to experience the all-new Mack Pioneer without leaving their home or office,” said Jonathan Randall, president of Mack Trucks North America. “The combination of our Live Tour experience and comprehensive Truck Builder platform creates a seamless digital journey from initial exploration to detailed customization, putting the customer in control at every step.”
The Mack Live Tour will see users touring the Pioneer with a segment-specific product specialist for 30 minutes. During that time, the product specialist can tailor the tour to what users are interested in via a one-way video format from the specialist’s perspective. Users can also communicate with their guide through audio or chat.
Meanwhile, the Truck Builder allows users to customize the Pioneer as needed while exploring a 3D rendering of the truck’s exterior and cab interior. The system can customize the vehicle’s exterior color and component selections for the body, powertrain, axles, suspension, and chassis.
“The Pioneer transforms the daily experience of professional drivers who spend an average of 150 hours per month in their trucks,” said David Galbraith, Mack Trucks vice president of global brand and marketing. “By making this groundbreaking truck available through our completely free Live Tour experience and our detailed Truck Builder platform, we’re giving customers unprecedented access to explore and customize the future of highway transport.”
The Pioneer is available in multiple configurations, including the Day Cab, 44-in. Mid-Roof Sleeper, 64-in. Mid-Roof Sleeper, 76-in. Mid-Roof Sleeper, and 76-in. High-Roof Sleeper.
