You Are What You Sleep, an American sleep company specializing in premium wool bedding, launched the Deeper Sleeper Bedding System, which is designed to help truck drivers get better quality sleep on the road.

“After years of research & development with wool, helping families enjoy a better quality sleep at home, we wanted to bring the same expertise and advantages to truck drivers on the road. After all, there are few as deserving of having the best quality sleep possible than the folks who keep this country running,” says You Are What You Sleep founder, and ex-marketing executive/ex-poor-sleeper, Brett Howlett.

“We’ve created a unique bedding system that helps promote a 25 percent better sleep: allowing you to fall asleep faster and gain more time in the all important ‘recovery’ stage of deep sleep. It’s wool that makes this possible.

“We call it ThermaControl Wool because it has the unique ability to control temperature and draw moisture away from the body (we lose a pint or so of fluid per night), creating a significantly better environment for sleeping, keeping the sleeper more comfortable, and asleep.”

The ‘Deeper Sleeper Bedding System’ is designed to create a microclimate in the bed that feels ‘just right’ no matter what the season - and is at peak performance when a sleeper cabin is around 65 degrees F.

The system comprises a 100 percent premium wool fleece Topper that attaches like a fitted sheet over the sleeper mattress. (Your bottom sheet lays over this), plus a 100 percent premium wool Comforter with a Tencel fabric shell.

Both products are allergy-friendly, natural, sustainable, flame resistant, can be machine washed and tumble dried and are covered by a five-year warranty. As Brett says, “We’ve gone out of our way to find the best fibers for bedding, ensuring our customers get the best quality, performance and value for money.”
