Schneider Electric has updated its Charge Pro Level 2 commercial EV charger with new features designed to simplify installation, management, and expansion of EV charging infrastructure.

The charger is designed for applications including fleet operations, workplaces, multifamily housing, public charging locations, hotels, and retail centers. It integrates with EV Connect Software+ for remote monitoring, access management, usage tracking, and driver support. One year of the software is included at activation, and the charger comes with a five-year hardware warranty.

The updated Charge Pro also features a simplified commissioning process intended to reduce setup time. Drivers can initiate charging sessions by scanning a QR code without downloading an app or creating an account.

The charger supports J1772 and North American Charging Standard (NACS) connectors, with configurations up to 80 A. Schneider Electric also says the system is designed to integrate with electrical infrastructure and energy management systems to help customers manage power demand as charging needs grow.

The Schneider Charge Pro Level 2 commercial EV charger is available through Schneider Electric distribution partners, installers, and EV infrastructure integrators.
