SPX introduces the OTC Ez-TAP Heavy Duty Wireless Diagnostic System, providing a wireless solution for predictive maintenance, HD diagnostics and advanced telematics all in the same VCI. Ez-TAP is a fully compliant RP1210a device, providing diagnostic modes of operation for J1939, J1708 and CAN protocols. With a built-in 9-pin connector, connection to the truck takes only seconds. Vehicle information is then seamlessly transferred wirelessly to PC using OTC’s AirBridge 2 Wireless Technology. Ez-TAP requires no subscriptions and no recurring monthly fees. This system was designed to work in conjunction with OEM software, allowing heavy duty facilities direct diagnostic mode operation with the software they already own.
