The Penray Need-Release Extended Life Cooling System Treatment is much more than just another cooling system filter. It goes beyond just filtration by releasing Supplemental Coolant Additive (SCA) when an engine needs it. This unique system senses the corrosivity of the coolant and releases the correct amount of treatment to keep the cooling system protected at all times. Penray's patented Need-Release membrane technology makes this possible and saves on labor costs and filter inventory. One Need-Release filter can replace from eight to ten ordinary filters.

Fits standard filter bracket for Detroit Diesel, Caterpillar, Cummins, Ford, etc. engines. Compatible with an 8-20 gallon cooling system capacity that has been pre-charged with 1200-1400 PPM nitrite.
