OTC introduced its new Powertrain Lift Differential Adapter Set, No. 5295-DA. The 5295-DA is designed to facilitate the removal and installation of some of the most common differentials currently in use. Compatible with OTC’s Powertrain Lift Table, No. 5295, the adapter mounts easily to provide safe and proper handling of differential axle assemblies during servicing.

The adapter set consists of two axle tube stands that support each side of the axle housing, while the pinion adapter stabilizes the differential from rotating to provide safer component access and service for technicians. The pinion adapter features a unique reversible head that supports a wide range of pinion and housing shapes and sizes.

The adapters are height-adjustable and feature hook points, designed to attach the hold-down strap to keep the axle assembly firmly positioned throughout service for safety.

With a rated capacity of 800 lbs, the design of the 5295-DA provides the combination of strength and stability suitable for challenging applications. The design utilizes an extended base frame that can reach nearly 10” – suited for a variety of vehicle overhangs.

The full set also includes two axle house standing assemblies, a pinion stand assembly, 12 hex head cap screws (M10 by 1.5), and a hold down safety strap.
