Now available only through Matco is the new Lexus/Toyota Harmonic Damper Pulley Holding Tool, #MST6430. The tool was developed to aid in the removal and installation of the crank bolt on Lexus and Toyota engines, which the manufacturer states is extremely tight, with removal being incredibly difficult at best. Factory specifications require up to 280 pounds of torque in order properly seat the pulley, a specification that this tool helps attain. The tool works on:

  • Lexus 1990 and later 3.0-liter L6, 3.0-liter V-6, 3.3-liter V-6, 4.0-liter V-8, 4.3-liter V8 and 4.7-liter V8 engines.
  • Toyota 1992 and later 3.0-liter V6, 3.3-liter V6, 4.0-liter V6 and 4.7-liter V8 engines.
