The OTC Tensioner Retaining Pin, No. 6744, relieves the tension on the timing chain tensioner for camshaft, actuator and timing chain service. The pin engages the tensioner arm and moves it forward, disengaging the ratchet mechanism. The pin is similar to EN-50837, the company says, and is designed to work on 2013-2014 Cadillac ATS, 2014 Cadillac CTS, 2013-2014 Chevrolet Malibu, 2014 Chevrolet Impala and Buick Regal 2.0L and 2.5L engines.
