The CTA Porsche Cam Alignment Tool Kit for 986 & 996, No. 5018, is designed to service the engine timing system on the 996 generation Porsche 911 up to 2001 and the 986 generation Porsche Boxster up to 2002. The kit comes in a custom, blow molded carrying case and includes a TDC alignment pin, camshaft lock, 2-pc camshaft supports, 2-pc camshaft holding tools, connecting rod centering mandrel or arbor, and piston pin driver and extensions. The kit is ideal for Porsche Boxster 986 (1997-2002) and 911 Carrera 996 (1999-2001) applications.
