The Vehicle Repair Group, which is comprised of Professional Tool & Equipment News (PTEN), Fleet Maintenance and Professional Distributor magazines, announces the promotions of current members of its editorial staff. 

Erica Schueller will now serve as the editor-in-chief for Fleet Maintenance magazine, and Sara Scullin will serve as editor for PTEN and Professional Distributor magazines.  

After 10 years as the editor of Fleet Maintenance magazine, David A. Kolman is leaving the publication to pursue new opportunities.

"As the editor, David was a great industry advocate, a thought leader, a storyteller, a mentor, a partner and a colleague," Fleet Maintenance publisher Michael Uliss said. "It saddens me to see him go; however, we sincerely wish him all the best of luck as he moves on with the next chapter in his career."

Schueller will replace Kolman on Fleet Maintenance magazine.

Schueller has reported on the transportation industry for more than 10 years, when she joined RV Trade Digest as the assistant editor in March 2007. She began her career in the vehicle maintenance and repair market in April 2008 as the assistant editor of PTEN and Professional Distributor magazines. In October 2010, she became managing editor of the Vehicle Repair Group, working on all three publications as well as VehicleServicePros.com. She learned about the commercial vehicle market through the mentoring of Kolman during this time. In May 2014, she became editor of PTEN and Professional Distributor magazines. 

"For the past three-and-a-half years, Erica led the editorial charge for PTEN and Professional Distributor, leading titles within the automotive aftermarket," Uliss said. "Her successful track record is a result of her intelligence, commitment and ability to develop industry relationships with thought leaders. It is an honor to welcome Erica back to the pages of Fleet Maintenance. I am extremely excited about our future with Erica taking on this important role of helping our audience maximize vehicle uptime."

Replacing Schueller, Scullin has been promoted to Editor of PTEN and Professional Distributor magazines. 

Sara has been in business-to-business publishing for more than a decade, and began her career at SouthComm with the Vehicle Repair Group as the assistant editor in 2007. She has since worked in the public safety sector for law enforcement-focused publications. As an editor with these publications she oversaw the planning and production of Law Enforcement Technology, and received awards for her feature articles and issue composition. She has edited and produced hundreds of articles, new product releases, executive profiles, columns and other content items that have helped to generate client trust, leads and growth.
