Fullbay has added an AI and analytics solution called Truck Genius to its heavy-duty shop and fleet management ecosystem. Truck Genius was designed to integrate with the Fullbay platform and offers comprehensive shop analytics, advanced data visualization, AI-powered invoice automation, and real-time performance tracking, according to the company. The partnership will bring these tools to Fullbay with the intent to help users unify and make sense of the troves of data they have.
"Our industry faces a significant challenge: shops have access to vast amounts of operational data but often lack the software and tools to effectively understand it and make decisions from it. Fullbay is building an ecosystem of solutions that helps bridge this gap," said Trent Broberg, CEO of Fullbay. "Truck Genius is a natural fit for that vision—bringing analytics, insights, and automated reporting that give shop owners and fleet managers a clearer picture of what's happening in their business."
Specifically, having a clearer picture of the data and KPIs should reduce downtime, enhance operational efficiency, and plug up “profit leakage” where it is found, Fullbay stated. In a video demo, Truck Genius noted that tracking gross profit per hour and labor efficiency can help a repair business identify which factors may be driving down margins.
"We could not be more excited to partner with Fullbay—especially after participating in Fullbay's recent Diesel Connect conference, where we got to witness the power of bringing industry leaders and peers together to discuss the challenges and opportunities for the future of heavy-duty," said Josh Ross, founder of Truck Genius. "That shared commitment to innovation, growth, and empowering shop owners with decision-ready insights makes the partnership a natural fit."
In May at Diesel Connect, Fullbay also announced the development of its AI-fueled Fullbay Next platform, as well as an agentic AI tool called Ask Spike to find and contextualize data for users. More details are expected this month.
“We’re transitioning this company to be AI-first and AI-native," Broberg said at the time.
