Mack opens Anthem orders, adds Allison Transmission monitoring to GuardDog Connect
Mack Trucks has officially opened the order book for the all-new Mack Anthem, a complete redesign of their previous flagship for regional haul applications. Unveiled in June 2025, the Class 8 truck is built for maneuverability, enhanced fuel efficiency, and driver comfort.
The truck will go into serial production in January 2026 and is available in day cab, 44-in. sleeper, and 64-in. sleeper configurations.
The truck also incorporates the Mack Connect telematics platform and GuardDog Connect integration, in which the OEM has also fully launched its Allison Transmission monitoring capabilities. Available on all Mack powertrains, the integration adds Allison Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) data and other elements into GuardDog Connect’s monitoring service for greater data accessibility.
Features of the Mack Anthem include:
-
Premium interior cab space (9" wider than previous model)
-
Mack Protect
-
Collision mitigation system
-
Optional Side Integrated Curtain Airbag (ICA) system
-
Optional digital mirror system
“The pilot program results exceeded our expectations,” said Jonathan Randall, president of Mack Trucks North America. “Achieving 100% customer satisfaction validates our commitment to making Mack easy to do business with. We’re now ready to extend these proven benefits to customers across our entire powertrain lineup.”
The full launch of the integration adds more monitoring capabilities as well, including universal coverage across all Mack powertrains, retroactive access for existing customers with compatible vehicles, improved fault code interpretation and service guidance, and a single point of contact for all powertrain-related issues.
“This isn’t just about new customers,” said Marty Foulks, Mack connected vehicle product manager. “We’re making these enhanced capabilities available to our entire customer base with compatible vehicles, ensuring no one is left behind as we advance our telematics offerings.”
The enhanced GuardDog Connect service with the full Allison Transmission integration is now available to eligible customers with Integrated Uptime subscriptions for no additional charge.
