ASE, Penske offers free webinar on air disc brake service

The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) is hosting a free webinar on Tuesday, March 4, at 4 p.m. ET on how to service air brakes.

The webinar will be hosted by Gregory Klever, outreach manager at Penske Truck Leasing. He’ll discuss air disc brake service, including the proper tools to use, inspections, serviceability, and troubleshooting. More specifically, Klever will cover:

• PM Brake Gauge and Proper Usage
• Penske Specifications for ADB Pad
• Thickness for a Standard ADB Rotor
• ADB Caliper and Rotor Serviceability
• Applied Brake Stroke Measurement
• ADB Hardware
• Thermal Overload
• Troubleshooting
• Tools

Attendees will receive a certificate of attendance after the live session, which will arrive by email after about a week. Registrants will receive a confirmation email as well, and those who cannot attend the live session should still register if they want the option to hear a recorded version of the presentation if one is available.
