ASE to offer free webinar on brake rotors

The webinar, hosted by a representative from Pro-Cut, will delve into brake services and discuss how OEMs are addressing issues under warranty and for paid service, among other topics.

The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence will be hosting a webinar called “Why the Brake Rotors Are Ground Zero for Today’s Brake Service” on Tuesday, Jan. 13 at 4 p.m. ET.

The webinar will be hosted by Steve Smith from Pro-Cut, who will discuss the various factors that go into making sure brake services are performed correctly and will increase component longevity. In addition, Smith will explore how OEMs are addressing service issues under warranty and for paid service, as well as what technicians should consider when servicing electric vehicle brakes. Finally, he’ll discuss how brake service procedures may evolve going forward.

Participants who attend the live session will receive a certificate of attendance about a week after the event. Once they register, attendees will receive an email with information on joining the webinar, while those who cannot attend are encouraged to register anyway, so that they may be able to view a recorded session if one is available.
