Dorman Products, Motor Age Training partner on technician training

“This will be a ‘must-attend’ event for any professional technician,” said Jerry “G” Truglia, Dorman Training Center director. “Vehicles continue to get more complex, so we all need to upgrade our skill level. RevUp is a great opportunity to learn advanced diagnostics and repair techniques that will pay off in any shop."

RevUp will feature four instructors from the Dorman Training Center who will help guide participants through real-world scenarios, teach classes, and answer questions. The four sessions are:

“Upping Your Diagnostic Skills,” led by Dorman Training Center Director Jerry “G” Truglia, focused on teaching the skills to diagnose and troubleshoot driveability issues efficiently, even when no diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) are present

“Diagnostic Strategies,” led by Pete Meier, providing training in OBD-II system diagnostics using common test equipment, covering essential first steps, scan tool techniques, and fuel system analysis

“Building Your Diagnostic Worksheet,” led by Ken Zanders, which will explore the fundamentals of building a diagnostic game plan, using various testing methods and equipment to help ensure an effective troubleshooting process

“Driving Down the Rabbit Hole,” led by Josh Weaver, a course that streamlines the diagnostic process with a structured eight-step sequence, helping technicians quickly establish an accurate approach from the initial test drive for efficient troubleshooting

RevUp registration is $149.95 per person and includes two seminars, breakfast, and lunch.
