ASE to offer webinar on Common Rail Diesel (CRD)

The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) is hosting a free webinar on Tuesday, Nov. 18, at r p.m. ET on the basics of Common Rail Diesel (CRD).
Karl Schneider of Bosch will host the webinar, discussing not only CRD systems but also the importance of clean diesel fuel, which can lead to better fuel system performance and avoiding recurring fuel system issues. More specifically, the webinar will discuss:
- The complexity of CRD systems
- How clean and uncontaminated diesel fuel improves CRD performance
- The importance of fuel quality
- Why techs might not consider contaminated fuel as a root cause for fuel system diagnosis
- Why it’s important to clean the fuel tank and get rid of contaminated fuel
Those who attend the webinar will receive a certificate of attendance, which will arrive by email about one week after the event. Additionally, once you register, you’ll receive a confirmation email with information on how to attend. Even if you can’t come to the live session, ASE encourages you to register for potential access to recorded sessions.
