TMC training session focuses on operation of modern emissions aftertreatment systems
Held during the Technology & Maintenance Council's 2018 Fall Meeting, all TMC attendees and TMCSuperTech 2018 contestants may attend the PTDC's Training Fair, a series of hands-on training sessions designed for technicians, shop supervisors and fleet managers.
This training qualifies for continuing education credit units accepted by the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF). Sessions are repeated during the one-day Training Fair, so you maximize the number of training opportunities.
New "Session 6" - Diagnostics and Operation of Modern Aftertreatment Systems
During this session (which replaces "How Well Are You Leveraging Available Maintenance Resources?"), presenters will cover the operation and diagnostics of modern emissions aftertreatment systems. Coverage includes active and passive regeneration-related fault codes, review of fleet vehicle fault data related to regens and helpful diagnostic software features.
