Stoughton expands Western dealer network with TEC Equipment

Stoughton Trailers has added TEC Equipment to its dealer network, expanding its footprint across the Western United States.

Under the agreement, TEC Equipment will represent the Stoughton brand in Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, and Arizona. Founded in 1976, TEC operates more than 30 locations across eight states and is one of the largest full-service truck and trailer dealerships in the country.

“The addition of the TEC service locations and sales team members will quickly expand Stoughton’s brand presence," said Jeremy Sanders, chief commercial officer for Stoughton. "Trucking fleets in the Western U.S. will have the opportunity to discover why the Stoughton brand is so revered across the rest of the US and Canada.”

For fleets operating in the West, the move increases regional access to Stoughton’s trailer lineup along with parts and service support through TEC’s established service network. Expanded dealer coverage can also reduce trailer downtime by improving access to warranty repairs, replacement components, and preventative maintenance support.
