Dana Incorporated is expanding distribution of its commercial vehicle aftermarket products through a new agreement with VIPAR Heavy Duty.
The agreement will make Dana's commercial vehicle aftermarket portfolio, including Spicer drivetrain products and Victor Reinz sealing products, available through the VIPAR Heavy Duty Family of Companies network. Dana expects the agreement to expand its commercial vehicle aftermarket footprint to more than 850 locations across the U.S. and Canada.
The expanded distribution network is intended to make replacement parts more accessible to fleets and shops through participating distributors. The agreement also gives distributors access to Dana's technical support and training resources.
Spicer drivetrain products and the Victor Reinz portfolio of commercial vehicle sealing products, including gaskets, will be a primary focus of the partnership. Dana said its broader aftermarket portfolio will also be available through the network.
The agreement also expands Victor Reinz's presence in the commercial vehicle aftermarket. The brand's portfolio includes sealing products for heavy-duty applications.
Dana is developing point-of-sale materials and product displays for participating distributor locations. The company also plans to provide training resources to help distributors build product knowledge around its commercial vehicle portfolio.
The VIPAR Heavy Duty network currently serves the U.S. and Canada, with plans to expand into Mexico and South America. Dana said the partnership is expected to broaden product access and support across the region.
