The latest version of GE Capital Fleet Services' IntelliGauge application features updates for the wide range of alternative fuel vehicles that are increasingly being utilized across car and truck fleets. With gas prices continuing to set records, the application helps fleet managers gauge fuel costs and efficiencies for any current or conceivable fleet size/make-up.

IntelliGauge is the only tool of its kind that allows for the comparison of vehicles from different manufacturers. The newest version of the platform features:

  • Comparison of current vs. future vehicle populations by fuel type
  • Fuel efficiency information of vehicles from the full EPA list, which features thousands of vehicles including hundreds of CNG, CNG conversion, diesel, electric, PHEV and hybrid vehicles
  • The ability to compare more than 550 models from 39 manufacturers for 2013
  • Ability to edit standard MPG estimates (to reflect actual observed values within a particular fleet) and modify percentage of electricity/CNG usage

Along with these features, the application now features an easier-to-navigate UI that better allows for the editing, saving and sharing (via email or Twitter) of specific fleet scenarios.

The application is free to use with registration and can be accessed via this link. It is primed for use online as well as with smartphones and the iPad.
