JX Peterbilt – Lansing will serve customers with all-makes parts and complete maintenance and repair capabilities with factory-trained technicians.

JX Enterprises (JXE) expanded its dealer network to 16 locations with the opening of JX Peterbilt – Lansing, its seventh Illinois branch strategically located in Lansing, Ill., to provide comprehensive customer support to the Chicago metropolitan area.

JX Peterbilt – Lansing will serve customers with all-makes parts and complete maintenance and repair capabilities with factory-trained technicians. It will also provide medium- and heavy-duty truck rental and leasing through the company's JX PacLease division.

"We continue to expand, driven by our mission to exceed customer expectations for cost-effective convenience and unparalleled satisfaction. JX Peterbilt – Lansing gives us an additional point of customer contact in one of the country's most densely populated urban areas with a high concentration of carriers, contractors and end users from most every market segment," said Eric Jorgensen, JXE's President and CEO. "The new dealership – our fifth serving Chicago and its surrounding suburbs – is just 30 miles southeast of the city and is located in one of the most heavily travelled areas in the U.S. It will be a major new presence both for us and for the local markets."

JX Peterbilt – Lansing is a new Peterbilt location and not an acquisition, said Larry Hasse, JXE's General Manager of Parts and Service. JXE will occupy two large parcels of land directly across the street from one another. The company will first open the newly renovated facility at 2100 Bernice Road in Lansing that will feature six service bays, a parts warehouse and retail area, and driver waiting area. Later this year the company plans to build on the adjacent property at 2203 Bernice Road in Lansing that will feature additional offices.

"Both parcels of land provide us with future expansion opportunities," Hasse said.

The new dealership will have prominent, illuminated road signs that can easily be seen from the major commercial traffic arteries the dealership is near. JX Peterbilt – Lansing is located adjacent to Interstates 80/94/294 that more than 40,000 commercial vehicles traverse daily. Additionally, Highway 83, another major commercial route, is located just east of the dealership.

"We're proud to announce this new location and the expansion of our dealer network. We're especially proud to be joining the Village of Lansing and becoming a vital part of its community," Jorgensen said. He added the company plans to host an open house in the coming months.
