Fluke Corporation's 233/A Wireless Remote Display Automotive Digital Multimeter Kit is the industry's first digital multimeter with a detachable wireless display, designed specifically for automotive troubleshooting, says the company. The display, which has a magnetic back and flat bottom for mounting on any flat surface, can be placed up to 33’ from the point of measurement. When the display is attached to the meter body it operates as a conventional multimeter. The unit's wireless signal is resistant to electromagnetic interference and will not interfere with other nearby electronic devices. It measures up to 1,000 v AC and DC and performs current measurements up to 10 amps. There is a built-in thermometer.
