No driver enjoys the experience of turning their key in the ignition (especially on a cold morning) and seeing — Nothing. No lights on the dash, no rumble of the engine turning over. These symptoms can indicate a dead battery, in which case any fleet or mobile maintenance provider is going to need a jump starter to help a truck get back to the shop for repairs. Some jump starters not only come with enough power to jump a semitruck, but also function as portable chargers for onboard equipment or feature a voltmeter for quick repairs.
