Shell announced that U.S. fleets can now go to Shell Fleet Solutions for all their mobility needs. Shell Fleet Solutions announced that in addition to providing the largest network of fueling stations, high quality fuel, the largest payment card portfolio for U.S. fleets, telematics, and maintenance, the organization has now added EV charging to its line-up. This empowers U.S. fleets to source turnkey customized EV charging solutions at scale to ensure EV charging is reliable, accessible, and can help reduce total cost of ownership.
This announcement comes following the global rebrand of Greenlots in the U.S. and NewMotion in Europe to Shell Recharge Solutions, powering the future of electric transportation with software and services that equip and enable drivers, utilities, cities, auto OEMs, and fleet operators to manage EV charging infrastructure. With depot charging solutions, fleets can install chargers at any business location. Additionally, Shell Recharge Solutions’ SKY EV Charging Network Software effectively manages EV charging so fleet managers can maximize operational performance, fleet reliability, and total cost of ownership to meet the logistical needs of their businesses.
“We are excited to work collaboratively with Shell Recharge Solutions so we can provide fleet managers with comprehensive technology and services that make the transition to electrification easier and more affordable,” said Jim Perkins, director of fleet solutions U.S. at Shell. “Our combination of solutions like Shell Telematics, Shell Fleet Cards, Shell Fleet Maintenance Hub, Shell TapUp, and Shell Recharge Solutions can be a game changer for fleets by enabling them to thrive through their electrification journeys and provide access to the very best products and services for the future.”
Shell Fleet Solutions is committed to supporting fleets during every key operational moment, including their electrification journeys. By leveraging Shell Recharge Solutions’ premier charging capabilities, fleets can now confidently offer depot charging supported by a robust collection of solutions powered by Shell.
“We are working to power the transformation to electric mobility to create a more sustainable future,” said Tannaz Banisadre, general manager of integration, EV charging solutions at Shell, and chief operating officer of Shell Recharge Solutions North America. “We’re thrilled to offer businesses a comprehensive suite of turnkey EV charging solutions delivered through a single, unified Shell brand experience.”
Shell Fleet Solutions and Shell Recharge Solutions are exhibiting at the Advanced Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo.
“Shell Fleet Solutions is excited and ready to work with U.S. fleets, understands their unique business needs, and prepared to harness the power of Shell to implement the solutions they need to effectively compete and grow throughout the energy transition,” Perkins concluded.
